WHATS BEHIND THE LOOK: Strong Shoulders

As we all know, fashion is constantly changing but who's to say that those changes won't come back. We recently have seen the strong shoulder make a comeback. The embellished shoulder design is inspired from the eighties, though the trend dates all the way back to the Victorian era. Designers have a whole new take on the look this season.

This dramatic and revolutionary style gives women the look of power and pride. Whether it is simply a blazer with shoulder pads, or a dress with an embellished shoulder, this bold look adds a modern twist to everyday styles.

DO & DONT

As we all know, floral prints are back and hotter than ever. But ladies let us not forget the rules that go along with wearing this hot new trend.

DO

  • To get the look this spring wear a floral print dress paired with a solid coloured heel. When wearing this hot new look, remember floral is a busy pattern, you don't need to go all out on jewelry and accessories. Keep this look simple and classic.
DONT

  • Don't overdo the look by wearing too many patterns or colours because then this hot new trend whines up looking like a hot mess.

  • Now, there is a trick to floral patterns and any pattern for that matter. The key to picking a floral is picking one that pairs up with your body size. The larger your body type the smaller the print should be.
