MTV Movie Awards Fashion Recap

The MTV Movie Awards were on last Sunday, and as per usual the actual show was just, "meh"... So lets just get right to the most interesting part - the fashion! The red carpet was all about Legs, sparkle, Legs, girly accents, bright colours, and more LEGS! Mini's were everywhere, neon colours popped, and shine was in full force.

Trend Spotting:

Trend 1 - Just a Girl

While still keeping with the mini dress trend of the night these ladies brought in a girly touch to their ensembles. Whether it was sweetheart necklines, belted waists, or floral patterns, these celebs remind us just how fun it is to be a girl!

Funny side note: All of these pretty ladies share one thing in common - they currently date (J.Biel) or have dated Justin Timberlake!

Trend 2: Shine on You Crazy Diamond

Fashion is experiencing a major sparkle moment, and metallics, sequins, and rhinestones were out in full force at the MTV Movie awards as seen on these shiny ladies:

Top Left: Audrina Patridge in a CD Greene one-shoulder tin-foil..err..mini dress; Top Right: Eva Mendes also rocking a one-shoulder mini, this time in a fun animal print by Stella McCartney; At Left: Katy Perry taking the sparkle trend very seriously in a Zuhair Murad rhinestone overload mini.

Trend 3: Neon Lights

The MTV reality stars held it down for the neon trend. Both of these ladies were hard to miss in their sexy, bright mini's. I personally love both dresses - they're fun, young, and fresh...perfect for an MTV event.
